With a background in nursing, healthcare, medical records, tech, and healthcare IT, I have learned that fancy job titles and lots of higher education does not guarantee financial literacy (or success). As a Corporate America refugee, I love working with mid-career nurses who would like to retire their school debt before they do. I show them that debt does not have to be a life sentence; it’s leverage with a learning curve.
